Matter Microplastic Filtration

Overview

Nymbl worked with Bristol-based technology company Matter to turn its microfibre filtration system into a clear, tactile 3D product story. We built a reusable digital version of the product in Maya, then used Houdini particle and fluid simulations to show how water and microfibres move through the system, are captured and removed. The final animation combined detailed product CGI with an exploded-view sequence highlighting the technology’s core benefits and simplicity. The same 3D asset was designed to support a wider range of outputs, from high-resolution print to web, touchscreen and interactive applications.
