Worcester Bosch↗ are the UK market leader in domestic boilers, and the only boiler brand to be recommended by Which? for 10 years. But with 99% of the magic happening behind boiler covers and beneath floorboards, they wanted to showcase the next generation technology inside their products in an exciting way.

Our brief was simple: create a suite of impressive videos that communicate key features on selected products and services. We decided early on that the best visual route is to create 3d animated videos. It’s a powerful medium for product videos – adaptable for future upgrades and provides viewers with new perspectives. For these videos, we wanted to take viewers on an incredible tour into and around each product.

We sourced inspiring images of aspirational homes, and initially created four photo-real CG environments: a gorgeous bathroom, utility room, large country kitchen and city apartment kitchen.

We modelled the boilers accurately from CAD data, with visual references provided to create a photo-real finish. This enabled us to showcase cross sections of the products and bring attention to specific features. To demonstrate flow rates and water pressure, we used a combination of visual effects such as fluid simulations.

The outcome? A suite of ten beautifully rendered 3d animation content for web and social. You can find these on product pages on main Worcester Bosch website↗ and social channels including YouTube↗ and Facebook↗.
