R&A 150th celebration of light

Overview

Working with Mather & Co for The R&A, Nymbl contributed 3D animation and motion graphics to Celebration of Light: a ten-minute projection-mapping show created for the countdown to The 150th Open at St Andrews. The visual journey covered more than 160 years of Open history, combining archive material, branded motion design and large-scale animation across the facade of the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse. The project demanded a very different approach to composition and detail, with every sequence designed to work at architectural scale while remaining clear to a live audience gathered around the Old Course.
