Euroleague Basketball Titles

Overview

Working with Dunlop Goodrich and IMG, Nymbl created a 3D broadcast package for EuroLeague Basketball that ran across multiple seasons from 2016–17 to 2020–21. A transforming basketball “device” became the visual thread through the title sequence, shifting between line-based and solid forms as it carried the viewer between shots. The work combined live-action rotoscoping with modelling, lighting, particle dynamics, fluid simulation and procedural animation using Maya’s MASH toolset. Alongside the main titles, we delivered a broader 3D package for use throughout each season.
