Overview

Working with Rubber Republic for eBay, Nymbl created two fast-paced animated films that deliberately mixed disciplines rather than locking into a single visual technique. Live action and stop motion were combined with 3D animation, motion graphics, cloth and fluid simulation, with every transition timed tightly to the soundtrack. Details such as stitched surfaces, a simulated jam splat and a cloth-driven feather plume helped the CG sit naturally alongside the practical material. We also delivered shorter versions for video-on-demand and YouTube advertising, extending the campaign beyond the hero films.
